the great 8

This week was the first time we had ALL 8 children in class, as well as the first time we stayed until 1:00.  These kiddos did a great job.  Many of them were tired, especially by the end of the school day.   This should improve as they get used to going without that morning nap (and hopefully taking a longer afternoon nap!)

Well, I have lots of great pics from this week, so I'll just get right to it:

Our Art teacher, Ms. Heidi talked about circles and the color blue in art class Wednesday,

Ms. Anneis, helping Oliver with hand over hand painting, is our assistant Art teacher.

It means they've had fun when they end up with paint on the face:
 Salvador Dali?
We enjoyed the beautiful weather with an on-campus walk in the bye bye buggies.  The kids were so relaxed.  I think we all enjoyed ourselves!
 And of course, bubbles!

Love how they stick in their hair.
Play time in the room allows everyone to experiment, playing with whatever they choose.

With this group, they usually all come flocking once you start something with one child, like these chalk drawings.
The first time we had all 8 children sitting at the table.
More fun in the gym today:

We seem to play a lot of musical laps.  After I took this picture of Gabi...Caroline hopped on my lap and grabbed the camera.  As soon as I took the picture, she got back up!

We played with scarves in music today:

We tried Play-Doh today too, but many of them decided they wanted to try a taste, so it didn't last a long time.  They'll learn! (And of course, it's non-toxic...don't worry momma's.)
WHEW!  What a week!  Enjoy your weekend and we'll see you Wednesday!
