Our first (official) day!

Parents: Your little ones are really adjusting well.  We love seeing their little personalities peek out as they get used to being with us.  Transitions are the toughest times in the day (drop off and pick up, leaving and entering the room for art/music playtime), but it is getting easier each day!

We ask that whoever drops them off in the morning, please say goodbye at the door and allow them to come in the room independently.  It will help them transition more quickly and easily and will avoid upsetting other children who are being reminded of their mommies and daddies each time they see an adult at the door.  I know it's hard to leave them if they are crying, but we PROMISE we will love them while they are in our care and that they won't cry all morning!  Then in the afternoon, please wait outside the door until we open it at 1:00 (or 12:00 this week).  Ideally, when we open the door, you will all be there waiting to scoop up your little ones.  This way we will be able to avoid end of day tears as much as possible.  Thanks for your cooperation in making this a great experience for your toddlers!

Now for the fun part...pictures!
